Korg SG-1D EP1 Instrument Rack
I've taken samples from the EP1 piano voice of my "New" version Korg SG-1D and assembled them into an Instrument Rack for Ableton. The SG-1D uses 12-bit sampling to generate surprisingly lush and organic acoustic and electric piano sounds. I've been using it for chordal parts mostly, but it's good for leads and basses too.
mkII Update - 04/11/2017
These samples are now available in Instrument Rack form for all users of Ableton Live 9.7, Intro, Standard, or Suite. Simpler is running in multi-sample mode, and I've limited the rack to using all-native Saturator and Erosion to add some warmth and distortion - along with the original Tremolo and Vibrato LFO mappings of the first version. I also chucked a handful of MIDI clip loops of chord progression and melody ideas into the pack for you to use as starting points for tweaking the instrument's parameters.
mkI was made using Sampler, and so is limited to Suite owners.
As always, more feedback, ideas and requests are welcomed.
